Power Farming are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to join our global IT team, leading the lifecycle management and support of IT Infrastructure services.
In this global role you will be based at our Head Office in the Waikato and work with our Australian, New Zealand, and American business teams.
The Opportunity
- Be recognised as the SME across the following functions and how they are delivered by each IT solution:
- Hyper-V
- Azure
- Dynamics365
- Authentication
- Network
- Security
- PRTG Monitoring
- Infrastructure capacity management and life cycle management
- Develop infrastructure strategy that will best support the business to grow, providing highly available solutions aligned with performance expectations
- Ensure network & security architecture is future proofed
- Develop and maintain Power Farming Group's IT security strategies, ensuring effectiveness, correctness and adaptability for change and growth
- Maintain and execute security standards
- Manage high quality intrusion detection approaches and responses
- Manage data backup and recovery for the Power Farming Group
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and plans
- Ensure connectivity, optimisation, resilience, and performance across all sites
- Manage Azure services, optimising from a cost and technical perspective
- Management of contractor service delivery
Who are you?
Key attributes we are looking for:
- Hands on experience designing and supporting Hyper-V, Azure, network, and security services in a complex hybrid environment
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security controls and response
- Team leadership
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, including expertise in managing vendors.
- ITIL and project delivery knowledge
- Analytical ability and sound judgement.
- Flexibility, adaptability & willingness to take on a wide range of tasks.
- Business-focussed approach.
