About you:
You'll focus on our customers; be self-motivated, organised and be able to inspire and mentor our team of Service Technicians. You will need:
- An recognised qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanics
- Proven diagnostic experience with strong electronics and hydraulics knowledge
- A background in agricultural tractors and machinery
- Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
- To understand and manage customer expectations.
- Strong head for numbers and be able to deliver accurate administration
- A good level of physical fitness as there is some heavy lifting involved.
- Commercially focused to drive profit and the success of the service department
- Previous experience in leading a technical team
About the role:
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Power Farming Gisborne branch. You will partner with the Dealer Principal to:
- Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow management
- Provide dedicated mentorship to our service team, with special attention to apprentice development
- Develop, communicate and monitor process and workflow within the service department.
- Ensure all work orders and jobs are completed on time.
